James Vives, the founder of Brushfire Farms is a small business based in San Antonio. Focusing on creating high quality products utilizing the Chile Pequin Pepper. The small common native pepper of South Texas and Northern Mexico, but unlike its close relatives in the pepper world, it is rarely used in the food world. Brushfire Farms grows their own Peruvian Aji limon peppers and hand picks all prickly pears from several South Texas ranches.
